Popular Classics and film music including the marches - Pomp and Circumstance no. 1, Crown Imperial, Radetsky, Dambusters and Raiders of the Lost Ark
and the beautiful Theme from Schindler’s List and Gabriel’s Oboe from The Mission.

The summer concert in County Hall, Matlock featuring Shostakovich’s Festival Overture,
Bruch’s Violin Concerto with Soloist Cristinel Bacanu and Borodin’s Symphony no. 2.
 
11th June 2011
Accompanying Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir
in a performance of Handel’s Messiah at their 14th Choral Day.
 
The concert took place in the Central Methodist Church, Chesterfield in aid of Ashgate Hospice.
9th April 2011 in Worksop.
The concert included the magnificent Saint-Saens – Symphony no. 3 (The Organ Symphony)
and the world premiere of The Cruel Winter by Richard Fox.
 
 
We crossed the border into Nottinghamshire and finally performed the programme that was due to take place in November. This time there was no snow and the concert was a great success.
The Crossing is an excellent venue with wonderful acoustics and we were made very welcome. The concert included the magnificent Saint-Saens – Symphony no. 3 (The Organ Symphony) and the world premiere of The Cruel Winter by Richard Fox.
